2013 Western Ridge Grenache Carignan
Museum Wines
Back to AllMUSEUM RELEASE
We’ve recently enjoyed tasting some older wines at Cellar Door and thought it would be great to release a small allocation of wines from the museum for you to enjoy at home.
This was the second release of the Western Ridge Grenache Carignan, from our Greenock vineyard.
Winemakers Comments | The two varieties were handpicked and placed into the crusher simultaneously. Fermentation in open 1 tonne fermenter at relatively cool temperatures to ensure the freshness of the fruit character was preserved, with in-tention that the wine be luscious and textural, yet be as far from the blockbuster concept as possible. - Richard Langford |
