Having suffered through a small vintage in 2019, and with early forecasting suggesting that 2020 was going to be similar, the Elderton team used our local network to source grapes from vineyards covering the breadth of the Barossa Valley to help us fill the void of having two successive vintages that ended up being around 70% down on yield.
As such, we have re-released this label to be an exclusive to our Commanders and Eldertonians on our mailing list, who continue to be remarkable supporters of the Ashmead family.
We look forward to being able to welcome you back to our beautiful home in the Barossa soon.
