We are excited to now be able to host visitors in Cellar Door for a seated tasting which can be accompanied by an item from our small tastes menu. See our Cellar Door blog update for all the current details.
Our Cellar Door is the grand 1918 classic gentleman’s bungalow Neil and Lorraine Ashmead bought for their family home, to live a Barossa lifestyle back in the 1980s. Surrounded by Elderton’s iconic vineyards, the magnificent homestead is now our Cellar Door.
A standout among Barossa Valley wineries, our beautiful Cellar Door provides great spaces to give you the experience you desire – from a casual tasting looking out over our 1894 Command Vineyard, to a hosted tasting in one of our private tasting rooms. For those who would like a more in-depth tasting, check out our tasting experiences.
We are very proud of winning the 2019 South Australian Best of Wine Tourism Awards – Wine Tourism Services. This is a reflection of our friendly, knowledgeable staff who welcome you to our family owned Barossa Valley winery. Scroll down to see the photo gallery of our Barossa wine tasting gem.
If you desire a relaxed afternoon, our wines are also available by the glass and can be accompanied by a cheese plate or seasonal menu item. Look out over the 1894 Command vineyard from the verandah, enjoy the sunshine on the lawn or during winter sit by the open fire.
If wine isn’t all you dream about, then let us tempt you with our espresso bar, with our favourite Barossa Coffee Roasters coffee.
We welcome Tesla drivers to visit our Barossa winery and Cellar Door and utilise the self-park Tesla Connector to charge their car whilst enjoying their visit.
We hope to see you soon!
