Elderton named finalist in Best of Wine Tourism Awards
Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development, David Basham, has today announced the finalists in the South Australian Best of Wine Tourism Awards. We are very pleased to be among the nineteen wineries named as finalists across seven categories.
The awards program is a part of Adelaide’s membership in the Great Wine Capitals Global Network and recognises leadership, innovation and excellence in wine tourism.
We are finalists in the Innovation category, along with Alpha Box & Dice and Unico Zelo.
We have previously been the winner of the Wine Tourism Services category, in the 2019 South Australian Best of Wine Tourism Awards so are especially excited to now be named a finalist in another category.
The full list of finalists is:
- Accommodation – Simon Tolley Lodge (Adelaide Hills), Beresford House (McLaren Vale), Longview Vineyard (Adelaide Hills).
- Architecture and Landscape – Yalumba Family Winemakers (Barossa), Dowie Doole (McLaren Vale), Torbreck Vintners (Barossa).
- Art and Culture – d’Arenberg (McLaren Vale)
- Innovation – Elderton Wines (Barossa), Alpha Box & Dice (McLaren Vale), Unico Zelo (Adelaide Hills).
- Sustainability – Kalleske Wines (Barossa), Tscharke Wines (Barossa) Battle of Bosworth (McLaren Vale).
- Restaurants – Slate / Pikes Wines (Clare Valley), Coriole (McLaren Vale), Paulett Wines (Clare Valley).
- Tourism Services – Kilikanoon Wines (Clare Valley), Wirra Wirra Vineyards (McLaren Vale), Chalk Hill Wines (McLaren Vale).
