Want to know when we’re open over Christmas and New Years? Look no further!
Here’s our Cellar Door open times for the festive season, so you can plan your Barossa winery visit!
We are open only 10am – 12pm on Friday, 18 December due to our staff Christmas party, so if you’re planning on visiting that day, please come in the morning. Thanks for your understanding! We’re looking forward to all enjoying some good food, great wine and a few laughs together. We are also closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
Tasting Experiences available
Due to current restrictions, we appreciate prior bookings. This time of year can be very busy and we want to offer you the best experience possible!
You can see all our available tasting experiences on our website – eldertonwines.com.au/experiences/wine-tasting/ and can make your bookings via our website, by emailing elderton@eldertonwines.com.au or by calling Cellar Door on 08 8568 7878.
Visiting with a group of six or more? we can make your time with family and friends extra special!
During current restrictions we are able to host groups of 6-10 by prior booking only. All groups of 6-10 will be hosted by one of our team members in a private tasting area. Please contact Jodhi@eldertonwines.com.au to plan the timing of your visit.
You can choose from the following tasting experiences:
- Group tasting flight of six wines from across our Estate and Exceptional Sites ranges – $20 per person
- Chocolate and Wine Matching – $25 per person
- Barossa Shiraz Masterclass – $35 per person
- Food and Wine Flight – $35 per person
At this time we apologise cannot accommodate groups larger than 10 people.

We look forward to hosting you in our Cellar Door over the festive season – it’s nice and cool inside on the scorching hot days and our veranda can be the perfect spot in the shade, to sit back and enjoy some great Barossa wine in style! You might also find a spot in our garden that you’d like to sit and enjoy a platter and a glass of wine.
