Cellar Door receives Silver Medal!
We were very excited on Friday, 4 November 2016, to be at the South Australian Tourism Awards dinner to receive a Silver Medal for Cellar Door!
Jodhi (Events & Concierge), Tush (Cellar Door Manager) and Jess (Marketing & Sales) enjoyed representing Elderton at the dinner.
The category of Tourism Wineries, Distilleries and Breweries was strongly contested, with a number of well-known finalists (including Seppeltsfield and Penfolds), so Elderton are proud to receive such an honour. This is great recognition for our hard-working team, who are dedicated to offering memorable wine experiences for visitors to the beautiful Barossa Valley.
Our 2015 Elderton Golden Semillon was also enjoyed by over 700 guests at the Awards dinner, during the dessert course.
Elderton welcomes visitors from around the world to enjoy its exceptional Cellar Door tastings. The combination of unique food and wine experiences, accommodation and a concierge service are all designed to showcase the provenance and distinctive character of our wines and the warmest welcome the Barossa has to offer. Guests are invited to sample our full range of wines and can purchase a thoughtful, delectable array of locally sourced produce, including artisanal cheeses and smoked meats. Whether seated on the verandah, in the courtyard overlooking the 1894 Command Vineyard or inside by the open fire in the cooler months, the Elderton Cellar Door is an idyllic way to spend an afternoon discovering some of the Barossa’s best wines.
Elderton’s Cellar Door tasting experiences include the Elderton Elite Tasting Experience, Barossa Shiraz Masterclass, Wine and Chocolate Tasting and Exceptional Single Sites Tasting. Details on each of these can be found at eldertonwines.com.au/experiences/locate-elderton-wines/.
Cheers!
