2023 Barossa Bullet Shiraz

The 2023 Bullet Shiraz is a carefully curated blend sourced from our four estate vineyard sites across the Barossa Valley: Nuriootpa, Greenock, Mengler Hill, and Eden Valley. This wine embodies the depth and diversity of the Barossa, showcasing a range of parcels that highlight the unique character of each sub-region. Each year, certain parcels display exceptional personality and quality.  The Bullet is our opportunity to celebrate these standouts in a distinctive, limited release.

It is the curious little wines that have a chance to shine in the Bullet Blend. We have chosen a parcel with really distinctive red raspberry notes from Craneford and a super vibrant crunchy parcel from Mengler Hill. This, together with a lovely savoury juicy note from Greenock and a delicious balanced example of Nuriootpa Shiraz make up this Bullet blend from 2023. We are really excited to watch our reds from 2023 as they begin to develop, they are like sleeping giants, just slowly releasing their tannin power as they mature.

Aroma: Brooding red fruits matched with gamey tones.

Appearance:

Taste: A lively interplay of raspberry and dark chocolate, underpinned by savoury complexity. Hints of vanilla spice complement a silky, fine tannin finish. Raspberry and dark chocolate notes hit the palate with a distinct savoury drive.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, juicy and vibrant.

Ageing Process:

Will happily age for 10 years however is looking delicious right now.
