2025 Small Victories Pinot Gris
Production notes
Description
A little change of pace for our 2025 Pinot Gris. We decided to change up our source instead adding a wine from the Fleurieu for our 2025 Pinot Gris. Given the warm and very dry year, we are happy with the freshness we have achieved in the wine and that texture we love from the Gris style.

Reviews
92 points, Ray Jordan, Wine Pilot
This is sourced from down in the Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia. The wine was fermented only in stainless steel, as you might imagine, and that's resulted in a wine of vibrant purity, which is really what you're looking for in this style. It's not a bigger, developed gris style and is more restrained, but with a fairly typical appley, crumbly pear influence that is evident on both the nose and the palate. It's clean and it's crisp, but with some nice subtle peachy characters adding some depth. It's an appealing wine.
91 Points, Ken Gargett, Wine Pilot
For this vintage, the team sourced fruit from the Fleurieu Peninsula, a new direction for them. Fermentation was in stainless steel.
Pale lemon in hue, this is quite a concentrated style with notes of pears, florals and apples. There is a gentle flick of acidity evident in this wine of medium length. Good life here, this can be enjoyed for the next two to four years. 91 Points.
