Finalist in the South Australian Tourism Awards!

We are excited to be named as a finalist in the 2019 South Australian Tourism Awards! Wish us luck as we hope to be named SA’s best Cellar Door experience.

Congratulations also to the other Barossa businesses named as finalists in the Awards – Barossa Valley Chocolate Company, Seppeltsfield, Vasse Virgin, Seppeltsfield Road Distillers, Steinys Traditional Mettwurst and Kies Family Wines.

What are the South Australian Tourism Awards?

The South Australian Tourism Awards are held annually and form part of the Australian Tourism Awards – winners from our state go on to compete at the national level.

The Awards recognise and promote excellence in tourism – from Cellar Door experiences to first-class accommodation, from major festivals and events to ecotourism.

How we’ve done in the past

We are proud to say that we’ve won silver at past South Australian Tourism Awards, but are hoping to do a little better this year and come away as the winner!

When we were still in our little cottage Cellar Door, which you may have visited in the past, we won silver in 2015 and 2016.

We were finalists in the 2020 Great Wine Capitals – Best of Wine Tourism Awards, a great follow up to being named the 2019 South Australian Best of Wine Tourism Award winner for ‘Wine Tourism Services’.

 

 

 

 

Our 2019 Eden Valley Riesling won Gold at the 2019 Barossa Wine Show last month.
